Hi there! My name is Mrs. Rains and I am the Speech Language Pathologist at Fairmont Elementary. It's so nice to meet ya!
A little about me: I grew up in Deer Park and was once a student at Fairmont Elementary many years ago! I graduated from Baylor University with my degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (Sic 'em, Bears!). After graduation, I went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology at ACU's Dallas Campus. While I loved every second of living in Dallas, my path led me back to Deer Park after a 6-year hiatus. It's true what everyone says, "DP is the place to be!" I completed my clinical fellowship year with DPISD and have remained with Deer Park ever since.
When I don't have my "speech pathologist hat" on, I love playing tennis, cheering on the Baylor Bears' football team, trying new restaurants around Houston, and traveling!
